The Elysian Fields is a rich fougere that explores the more sumptuous aspects of this classic fragrance style.  It starts with a special lavender oil made from just the lavender flowers, with the stems and greenery removed.  This yields a sweeter smell that is more true to nature. This rich, sweet lavender melds with Venezuelan tonka bean absolute, natural oakmoss and geranium to form a heady fougere that’s both traditional and decadent.

December Kiss tells a story of a brisk walk on a crisp day in late fall followed by a hot drink inside a cozy cafe.  It starts as a crisp citrus and herbal fragrance, but slowly warms on the skin to become a complex oriental.  This fragrance was originally made by the perfumer as a bespoke fragrance for a stranger 3000 miles away.  She has since moved across the country so they can be together.

Opening:  Sweet citrus, lush orange flower absolute with green and herbal notes from galbanum and tarragon.

Drydown: Warm, animalic amber, rich rose and Mysore Sandalwood with hints of leather and precious incense.

Questionable Motives is based around a dirty, dry, animalic vanilla and wood accord, combined with unburned frankincense and a fresh citrus and petitgrain cologne accord.  It is powdery, woody, sweet and dry all at the same time.  It’s unisex not because it’s androgynous, but because is has strong aspects of both masculine and feminine fragrances.
